The remarks by the victims come after Wangai was granted Ksh10 million cash bail pending plea taking next week.
Wangai who is the Goldenscape Founder and CEO appeared before Milimani Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku on Monday, August 2, 2021 afternoon but did not plead to the 357 charges of defrauding several investors in the collapsed greenhouse business
“I order the accused person to be released on a cash bail of Ksh10 million with an alternative bond of Ksh20 million pending directions and plea taking on August 9,” said Mutuku.
Wangai did not plead to the 357 charges filed in court by the office of the DPP to await the Mutuku’s decision whether the court will admit the counts in one charge sheet.
