Give back to society(Rudi Gishagi usaidie)

I come from Kikuyu (area within Thogoto and Ndeiya). You all know that I finished my college studies end of last 2018. I have this old relatives and family friends wenye walibahatika kusoma wakapata kazi n all the money. When I was i college looking for internship they kept giving me empty promises lakini wapi. Hao watu hata hawakijangi kutembelea watu, they only come for mazishis. Sasa one of them is sick, veeeeery sick. Wanazunguka the whole village looking for blood donor but hakuna mtu anaeza jitolea coz they ran away. The other that I know her mother stays in a rabbit like house na yeye anaishi maisha London, sad. Na Nairobi na Kikuyu ni hapa tu.

Ukibahatika help one or two in your village, hii mambo ya umalaya na kukatalia nairovi na familia yenu no thina thina mutige ngui ici. It will never hurt if you help you mother.

Unarent 50k house, ndio you impress your shitty circle, na hujajenga, na mamako anaendanga kuchota maji kwa mto. Unaend kulala kwa kiti december. Shame on you.

Analala jikoni…

This is beyond stupid that someone would leave their home unkept.
Strange especially considering Kikuyu is not even far.
Seems rural urban mentality is still very active in society.

Sad.
Most people after getting education and a job, they start thinking their village folks stupid and poor, kabla asaidie mmoja wawili. Onlyy to come back when they are sick or old kutafta usaidizi

Si kila mtu ako Nairobi is doing well. Life in Nairobi is very expensive. Unaweza ona mtu who dresses well and who lives in a decent looking home but don’t assume he is loaded with cash.
Let’s take the example of Ndegwa, man with a wife and 2 children.
He rents a 2bd in komarock for 14K
Food akule home so 9k pekee. That’s 300 per day.
Bus fare yake about 6K
Stima ni 1500
Wife huwezi mwacha bila kakitu so 5K
Masabuni, replacing small things kwa nyumba, phone credo na kadhalika ongeza 5K
Total ni about 42K
Ukiongeza PAYE taxes za Uhuru inafika almost 45K
Majority of Kenyans who are on pay cheque earn very little money.
Huyu Ndegwa hana raha hata kidogo. Ndio hawezi tokea ocha juu akikuja huko umuombe pesa aseme jana utasema ni mchoyo sana. So for him it is better if he avoids going to ushago completely.

Interesting thread. I’m curious kuona what others will say

Tangu Mpesa ikuwe launched, watu wa Ocha wamekuwa sumbua sana. Consistently nagging nitumie pesa for this and that. Ukitembea Ocha, salamu pale ni utoe pesa kwanza ata kabla you step in the house. And that jobless drinking bastard hustling you has 15 kids, who start ranting like this nigga here wakiwa wakubwa.

FCUK YOU na hizi entitlement zenu lazima msaidiwe!!! Most people worked hard to be in Nairobi, and are only answerable to their parents, spouse and Kids. Meffi Nyinyi.

If ndegwa comes comes from Kikuyu area, he needs to go back to Kikuyu and build his home there and commute from there.

Ndegwa saidia familia yako bana . The whole point of hustling in cities is to elevate your families.

Ndegwa hajakataa ni vile 50k Nairobi haifiki anywhere. Huoni Ndegwa hana hata za veve

That has been my story.
So many relatives keep requesting me for money all the time. My aunt cant go 2 weeks without requesting that i send her something.
The good thing is, ocha ukitumia mtu 500 ako sorted proper.

Wengi wa hawa watu huwa na maringo saaaana Nairobi, ukienda ocha kwao huwezi amini. I think they overcompensate. Kuna kadem kalikuwa na boutique hapa kando yangu, sema maringo!! “Mimi siwezi kula kwa hoteli kama hiyo…kama si Uber wacha ikae, siwezi panda matatu…this year mzee lazima atupeleke Watamu”. Unfortunately her mother died and her “friends” accompanied her to the burial. JISAS!!! Ile report ililetwa, complete na effidense, ilikuwa ya kushangaza. Nyumba ya matope, latrine iko hukoo kwa kona ya shamba, na ukuta ni za gunia. NGAI!

Damn it, chics are like that…kuchocha.

Walienda mazishi ama usororaji?

Both. Lakini kulingana na vile mtu amejibeba jijini unaexpect ocha kwao pia kuwe a certain way. Hiyo contrast ilikuwa ya kushangaza.

The difference between the projection and actual reality.

Sana sana hawa ma AMG fake wamejazana kwa hii kijiji ndo huwa na utu tutambia

Exactly,

The issue here is why patients are the ones looking for blood donors when we have a government. It’s 2019 and blood banks are a foreign concept? My parent is O neg (very rare blood type), I remember one time they got sick and we went to vichorochoros you can’t believe exist looking for someone compatible. After going through hell to get blood and paying that person 5k, the hospital went ahead and gave away our units to someone in a more critical condition about to die. This was a costly private hospital which did this so you can imagine the scandalous practices happening in smaller hospitals. If you’re O negative in Kenya, what you have is not blood but liquid gold.

Lol. Some Kenyans bring that begging mentality to the diaspora. Kwanza mtu wao akiaga, that becomes their ticket to ask for donations. It’s so cheap kuzika mtu and you just know most of the money won’t be repatriated home. Ni tabia mbaya sana.
