“the first fire engine that came didn’t have water”
Why would a fire engine even leave the fire station to go to a fire site WITHOUT WATER ?
Why would a fire engine be seating at the fire station without water ?
Sabotage, hii ni kenya msee. Nobody gives AF about anything
Why do fires sprout now and then huko Gikomba …
Pitia huko ujionee. High rises sprouting all over in gikomba and majengo. Na container stores pia
That small pedestrian bridge from Gikomba to NACICO plaza is due to be converted to a proper bridge for cars also.
This will make that Gikomba side prime property which can not just be left to the tu hustlers that have stalls there now.
Always. Freaking always the first fire engine hainaga maji. Wanafaa wajipange na fire powder sasa.
Is Gikosh government or private property?
The area that gets burned is Kanjo property but there is no way of getting rid of the current hustlers that are there now because they been there since before 1963.
The idea is to frustrate them with fire’s till they just go away then the land will be allocated to some nameless tumbocrates.
Last year their was another fire an some of those trader were seen on TV saying " sasa tumechoka tutawawachia hii Gikomba".
A few of them left permanently and this year a few more will leave.
Kurudishwa 0 every year hadi wote waishie land inyakuliwe
It’s saddening that a whole government cannot, and will not put in place measures for relocation.
Sometime back nilikaa mkutano na wazito fulani saying how they will relocate Gikosh traders. I guess its just music to the ears.
Kuna idle land railways that can accommodate all those people…Jogoo road pia, Thika road…

Time delay fire starter.
You light the mosquito coil at 4PM and leave it in the stalls and the fire starts hours later.
The fcuk!
Your planting ideas in peoples heads.
Anyway mi najua nyingi za kitchen cooking appliances.
Gikomba Annual Fires…my heart bleeds for the traders who lose their investments here yearly.
Hakuna idle land kanairo, individuals have title to what you think is idle land.
Alafu its the said GOK or kanjo officials that are coordinating the fires and will benefit when the traders give up and leave and the land grabbed.
This is not a new thing people don’t know, even the traders know this is how its done.
You learn something new every day
‘Conversation sasa imegeuka ikawa ya mahustler, mama mboga, bodaboda guys na Gikomba traders ama namna gani my sister’
Mujamaa, hii ulisomea wapi
Hio sio kitu ya kusomea, ni common sense. Alafu ni locally available materials that cost less then 10/= bob.
Wah!
