The media blew things out of proportion. The events preceding his death paint a clearer picture of what actually went on.
The man was resisting arrest, claiming that he is claustrophobic and therefore the police should bring in a bigger car. He gave those police officers hell; acting hysterically, shouting, etc which I felt was a smokescreen to avoid arrest. He was quite a big guy so they had trouble containing him.
So the same guy who was putting up all this antics to avoid arrest suddenly claims that he can’t breath? Even, I, wouldn’t buy that. Our blood brothers in the states should simply stop being foolish by resisting arrest.
9 vs 6 ruling does not give a Not Guilty verdict. That will result in a hang jury. Which will mean a retrial. Factually it’s only 12 jurors who vote.
A not guilty verdict will only happen if all the jurors vote not guilty.
He will be guilty. No way the system will let it go" not guilty". Repercussions will be dire and they know it. Sacrifice one rogue police officer and the rest will tow the lane.
