The good pathologist Dr just gave us a differential. If the COD was not asphyxiation, then it could be x,y or z. He’s ruled out asphyxiation. The prosecutor can obviously challenge that finding by getting a second opinion (which is probably what will happen).

Your nephews are right but remember most schools have a police officer. Fights occur daily in HS. By 6th grade the kids are larger in size than the teachers. Separating some of these fights is not advisable. Yes the teachers slack if you slack as a parent. Asians and Chinese succeed because their parents really push them. I have friends and its unbelievable what they make their kids do.
All the officers involved are supposed to answer the public as to their actions because I assume you can’t be standing there watching a fellow human being handled that way.
These police have policies on how to handle someone in all circumstances, be it resisting, be it in handcuffs. Derek’s actions are not only wrong, they are outright inhumane.
It is wrong for cops to handle someone like that and a pathology that he had underlying conditions and all is a slap on the face of people seeking justice since it assumes that cops handle people with the assumption that they are a clean bill of health.

My blood is boiling! It does not matter whatever underlying medical condition George Floyd had. It does not matter whether he was a porn artist , serial killer or a fugitive. The plain fact is that the primary cause of death, the mechanism of death and the accelerant to his death is obvious! Some low quality human is waiting for autopsy? What for? That is plain asphyxia at the very least.
This is why I always say prosecutors need to be careful what they file in charges. Some of their charges are out of public anger and have enabled racist suspects to walk free.
You’re right. I hope the pathologist has not been compromised because that seems to be the general consensus especially amongst minorities. There’s no way to absolve Derek of his inhumanity. At the same time, finding Derek’s real COD would allow for the other officers to be implicated as well. As of right now, only Derek has been apprehended but I think all of them are guilty.
Once everything calms down and the court process starts, it will come down to science. I see a big problem coming and its not because of the laws, but because of science.
