and Cord leader
Raila Odinga and rejected a law
that would have implemented
the two-third gender rule in
Parliament.
it is suprising that women want free seats yet they have a bigger population than men .Men are about 48% while women are 52% .The problem with this bill if implemented is we will increase the number of mps which is already too high .If women decide to elect more women they have the numbers and can achieve even more than a third

Point of correction they did not defy, they did what any sane macho man could do but then again, it’s their constitutional right to approve or reject any bill without being arm- twisted.

hio gender rule ni upussy (pun positively intended). hata hao ma women rep waende kapsaa. why cant gender rule be implemented in the civul service watu wapate job. kwani siasa tu ndio mambo yote?
