Gen Zs And Job Interview Attires

Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has a bone to chew with Kenyan jobseekers He decried a lack of seriousness, especially with the manner in which they dress for job interviews Mutua lamented that during interviews for job opportunities in Qatar he advertised recently, some came dressed in hoodies and sneakers.

Mutua blasted those who came for interviews dressed in hoodies, sneakers, and t-shirts written "seng’enge ni ng’ombe.”

“You need to look neat and presentable,” a frustrated Mutua remarked.

This generation is messed up. In church I saw a youth lighting a cigarette with church candles, I was so shocked I almost dropped my bottle of water filled with beer.

“Even if it is a job in construction, dress like someone who can be trusted with a serious project,” Mutua stated.

But on the other hand, you are hiring someone for his brain n competency but not the looks.

Glad these old views are dying despite efforts of boomers to maintain status quo. They want people to nyonga tie and to appear in stilletos ndio?
