Garden City

Future investment just like in Dubai

They’ll alienate quite a bit of clientele in that location. Riviera is smaller but it has better user interaction. 2 rivers will end up being a place where guys go to take instagram photos without necessarily shopping.

I know it will be the biggest. Is it a mall or will it have a mall/ malls??

I don’t have the finer details but I guess it will be a mega mall with a leading South African supermarket chain being among those to set up shop.

Thinking the same thing too about Two Rivers its too high end for the common mwananchi
to feel comfortable going shopping there and its anchor tenant Carrefour also just brings about a mental image of expensive goods sold there. Their brochure shows that they are targetting Gigiri Runda Muthaiga Kitisuru Rosslyn areas Ruaka ata hawakutajwa pahali

Think the lead abchor tenant is French CarreFour 2nd or third largest retailer in the world. Game hopped to have same effect but dont think they are doing so well

Thats none of ur biz,they r better than u anyday.sorry 4 u

Also I am abit confused by the CarreFour story, who btw are demanding a non refundable Kshs 1.4M from suppliers who want to do business with it bloody hell!!! But are they going to the Hub in Karen as shown here www.businessdailyafrica.com/Corporate-News/Carrefour-sparks-supplier-unease-with-Sh1-4m-fee/-/539550/2818592/-/frvm0v/-/index.html Or are they going to Two Rivers as shown here www.nation.co.ke/business/Contract-row-dampens-entry-of-French-retailer-Carrefour/-/996/2834448/-/158sjl8/-/index.html or even both locations

Why feel sorry for me? Its just an opinion from an outsider looking in I could be wrong an anyways that is not my area of business

Two rivers was supposed to have been finished in October 2015 and officially opened on December 2015, I pass their everyday and progress is slow at least from the ruaka side.

U answered urself bro, don’t be a bitch about it…move on

They’ll be in both locations. The 1.4m is a tactic used world wide for suppliers. It will work here BTW. Goodwill sort of.

I had a discussion with someone who thinks Two Rivers will open in September. Kirubi is aiming for Easter. I wonder if they had a performance bond with the contractor like Garden City - Sino Hydro…

TopCat lives in Ruaka! Can I come?

Garden city was built by the Chinese? That figures, I was wondering why they went for this metallic structure design. I don’t particularly like it.

Chinese were just contractors. The developer & consultants (neither were Chinese) were responsible for design & material use.

Opening two malls simultaneously and they haven’t had prior experience with the Kenyan market before? Will be interesting to watch

They have issues with the Chinese because of lateness in completing the work they are in court battling it out

Goodwill sort of…Even Nakumatt know better than to try that shit. Essentially they are looking out SMEs and giving them FREE cash for every supplier aiiiiiiih Even Michael Joseph knows Ke is a peculiar market you have to adapt to it to survive

Topcat hadealigi na machokosh

Kuna watu watalilia kwa choo very soon
