Police in Kabondo Kasipul are in pursuit of gangsters who allegedly raped a 22-year-old woman and robbed them of their valuables.

The woman who is a polytechnic student was raped in a house she lives in their parents’ home at Oriang’ village in Kabondo Kasipul constituency.

It is reported that four gangsters raided the homestead on Tuesday at 10 pm and raped the woman in the house until Wednesday at 1am when they left.

The victim’s mother said the criminals entered the house and found the daughter watching TV with her grandchildren.

“They ransacked and took away two mobile phones she was using. They then led her to a room where they raped her repeatedly,” the mother said.

The mother said the gangsters later came for them and they demanded to be given all the money that was available in the house.

The criminals then hastily locked the mother and her grandchildren inside a wardrobe and threaten to shoot them with a gun if they make noise.

“They took electronic items of about Sh500,000 and Sh100,00 cash money before they left,” she added.

As they were leaving, they abducted the woman’s husband using his car and drove and dumped him beside a thicket in the Rangwe constituency.

The husband later returned home in his vehicle at dawn.

The victim was rushed to Othoro Level Four Hospital for medical examination.
The woman called on security officers to look and apprehend the suspects.
“They were operating in groups. They robbed us of valuables and raped my daughter. Let the police provide my daughter with justice,” the mother said.
Area assistant chief Tom Agwanda asked residents to work together with security officials to address the insecurity issues.
He said some criminals nowadays enter people’s homesteads in the evening, hide and steal from them later in the night.
“It is tricky crime which is thriving in the area. The gangsters go into a homestead at dusk and hide somewhere before they carry out the ordeal,” Agwanda said.
He asked people to cooperate with security officials to help them weed out crime.
Homa Bay police boss Samson Kinne said they are looking for the suspects who disappeared after the incident.
“We must arrest them and ensure justice prevails to the family,” Kinne said.

Why are gangsters from those sides so brutal, honestly what is the purpose of rape?

No wonder some talker here once said that you would rather be accosted by shiney eye gangsters since most are after money

That’s true those are the worst bonobos ever

Negro is a bad manager all round either way you look at it … never staying focused on the mission. They could have gotten away with robbery but now they will get caught coz of the rape … talk about getting side tracked.

:D:D:D…wapi whips zako? UUUmbwa!!

Sorry to the family.

A family able to maintain a car should be able to install several solar powered cctvs from different companies then be alert on situational awareness. Local, coward barking dogs and alarms are necessary too.

Connecting a Tv to a home theatre then adjusting volumes to the maximum is not wise even during the day.

Hii ni seti…most criminals shy from house break ins

We are unlucky to be born in a wrong era, 100yrs ago young men will raid other areas na in case the enemy washindwe ulikuwa unatoka hapo na young soft meat unamchukua kama sex slaves
