Sh*t like this is why religion should be called out on the fact that the vast majority of believers have never read the entire Bible. I don’t know who I have less respect for…Religious people who devote their life to a book they’ve never read, or the few who have read it and cherry pick it and do mental gymnastics to justify shit like gang rape simply because “it was a different time” or whatever.
It’s time to start taking Christians to tasks, their “holy book” (ALL of them) is barbaric, murderous and ridiculously fictional. It doesn’t deserve respect, it deserves derision.

It is so sad how the faithful are blind to obvious stupidities, irrational script, absolute lies, illogical reasoning e.t.c simply because it is in the “Holy” bible and thus God can not be questioned and discrepancies are all a creation of that same God (I wonder if to confuse the followers or make finding God a challenge).

So a few years back he was all over the earth burning sodom, saving his people who he allowed to be slaves then decided it was time to go into hiding forever till the day that Jesus comes back, again in hiding as ususal. Total foolishness if you ask me! He may as well text me his return and I will text back telling him to postpone it for 10000 more years so he could get a few more belivers on his side.

You can’t read several verses from the Bible and you run away with them without considering the whole book and the context of the verses you read. I always say that if you are looking for controversies in the Bible you will find them. The Bible reading and Interpretation requires wisdom which am shy to say you lack it.

It ain’t those parts of the Bible that I can’t understand that bother me, it is the parts that I do read and understand.
Did you consider the fact that Lot fucked up in giving his daughters to be raped? Did they get raped? No. Coz the Men he was hosting intervened by Pulling Lot back into the house, locked the door and struck the men with blindness.
Clearly Lot was on the wrong here, but you are quick to hull it all on God.
