Now this is petty
Considering how sacrosanct elections are, these should be investigated.
When people try to interfere with the people’s will they should be held to account. If we don’t give independence to the necessary institutions and shield them from undue influence… if we don’t reward people who go against the regime to uphold the will of the people, then no way we can put WSR to task, or mitigate his excesses
Mnajua sacrosanct ni nini hata?
Still waiting for the exposè…
What is petty? Your Ojingaism must be unrivaled. The fools shouldn’t even be waiting to be sacked. They should have resigned long ago.
I will repeat:
Elections are sacrosanct in any functional democracy because they vehicle the sovereign power of a people to hire and fire their leaders
Of all the challenges that we are facing currently as a country and the first business of parliament is to retaliate on the dissenting commissioners? Really? How petty can ruto be.
Unga ilishamwagika
Ojinga. Part of the reason why we have problems with the electoral process is we wait until the last minute to make laws and appoint chereras. IEBC should be preparing for 2027.
Elders muache story zo Ojingaism. Elections ziliisha. It cant be that whenever we are discussing issues concerning us as Kenyans, that touch on all of us, Bonobos are here talking about Ojingaism. The issue at hand is quite obvious. We understand what the 4 Commissioners did, and they had their reasons, whether good or bad. However, the real question here is quite obvious. Like @Ndekwe has said, with the many issues currently affecting us as Kenyans, (bei ya unga, life iko juu, corruption and unemployment, etc.) isn’t it quite unfortunate that the House’s first order of the day would be raising concerns about the four individuals when arguably, IEBC’s main responsibility and duty as a body is still 5 years ahead? This is something that they can do later after dealing with real issues at hand. Wengine wenu mnapayuka sana bila kufikiria a thing or two because you have corrupted your minds and are biased. Muache pang’ang’a mingi.
So people who attempted to interfere with the sovereign will of the people should be left alone?
If you don’t stand for electoral justice, prepare for a VERY LONG WSR Presidency
So the govt can only do one thing at a time?
The commissioners would have easily triggered violence in this land.
And the sooner people understand their oath is to the constitution and not the current govt, the better for all of us.
Good step, wrong timing.
The best thing to do is to form a tribunal on “state capture” as promised and prosecute Uhuru.
Let’s not go through corners.
I dont think I understand your question.
Where will the so called Fumigation end, and wherr will it leave the country ?
hakuna huruma sasa, Ruto is president na wale watu wanataka kuendelea na ujinga ile uhuru alileta kenya will face the music. sahii hakuna kubembelezana ni kazi ifanyike, hao wajinga wanne waliona sisi tulichagua ruto ni wajinga watajua hawajui
Your opposition to the removal of the rogue 4 is that we have so many things to do. My question is, what stops the govt from doing all those things, plus removing the rogue 4
Petty? How about Precise. That’s what we want from now on.Elections should be an engineering exercise par excellence. We can’t function as a democracy if every 5yrs we teeter over a civil war cliff edge. This should be the 1st thing on the agenda if we want to preserve the peace for the next 100yrs.
You argue as though it’s not possible to do both things at the same time, as if they are mutually exclusive. What makes you think we can only do one or the other, and not both
