maybe not if you dont tamper with the upstream lambda sensor.
Problem is some cars may throw a CEL if they can’t communicate with the downstream one and you need to hack it out of the computer.

It depends…If you upgrade to a better exhaust system that allows for a faster rate of flow, you will get marginally better fuel economy and performance. Exhaust gases create back pressure that resists the rotation of the pistons especially in vehicles with catalytic converters. A good exhaust job will increase performance, create a better sound note and improve efficiency albeit marginally. A substandard job will revert your changes and in sensitive systems such as forced induction drive-trains, poses the risk of damages and catastrophic failure.Good luck
