President William Ruto has nominated former Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose as the next Solicitor General.
The pick could enhance Ruto’s fortunes in Kisii and Nyamira counties ahead of his planned tour of the region soon.
It will also assuage concerns by leaders who had complained of the region being shunned by Ruto in top state appointments.
The president forwarded Mose’s name to the National Assembly for approval before formal appointment.
Mose, if approved, will take over from Ken Ogeto.
