Jesus is the light of the world. So God the Father stopped the sun.
Jesus is the new and living way to God the Father. So God tore the temple curtain from top to bottom.
Jesus is the creator of the universe. So God the Father had the rocks cry out.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life. So God the Father resurrected a multitude of people from the grave.
Jesus was and is the Lamb of God, dying for the sins of the world. So God the Father touched the heart of the Centurion. And the Centurion looked up at Jesus hanging upon the cross and said, "That is truly the Son of God.”
Surely no extra biblical evidence is available to support a 3-hour daytime darkness? Also, how does stopping the sun lead to darkness in a place where it was already day? The last time God stopped the sun (to allow Joshua more time to butcher his enemies) the end result was more light not sudden darkness Joshua 10:12-14.
Then we come to the mysterious sightings of dead people roaming in Jerusalem who Matthew tells us “appeared to many”. If this indeed happened, why doesn’t Paul reference this when clapping back at people who insist there is no resurrection of the dead (1 Corinthians 15:12) ? Again, no extra biblical sources are bothered to mention these reports of dead people leaving their tombs and entering the city.
The only question I ask Christians why they support racism since Jesus doesn’t. There’s no more discussion after that. I don’t pray to white gods.
Oh yes! Jesus most definitely and blatantly exercised what was at that time in history the closest thing to racism. Remember the incident where a lady was crying out to Jesus to heal her kid? Jesus ignored her. When asked why he replied that he was only sent to the house of Jacob, yaani Israel. And he also said that you don’t give your children’s food to the dogs!!! What would you call that? Not racism?
