I came to Nairobi first time in 2004 after my kcpe exams awaiting results. The journey itself is a story for another day but my thirst for visiting the promised land had been quenched by the 2week Holiday.
fast forward.
Being a good boy I couldn’t just lazy around hanging with kids and watching TV.I felt the urge to impress my aunt more. After washing utensils I decided to wash clothes.Earlier on she had introduced me to pegs which I had never used.My aunt lived in the first floor of some old gorofa pale dando phase 4.After washing I had to andika mango hapo mbele ya balcony Kwa tukamba tumefungwa karibukaribu.I did that without using pegs and went indoors awaiting to be congratulated in the evening.
Hell broke loose when I went back to collect the clothes from the lines… The winds had performed their part without disappointment. The only thing remaining was my old pullover passed to me by my mom.
My aunt was understanding but as it is no mistake goes unpunished.I received the punishment when I returned back to k-town
