They want it to be referred to the parliamentary committee on Transport first so that CS Macharia and PS Hinga can be grilled on that decision with all the paperwork provided for scrutiny.
However its a scam, I know what they told Matatu Owners Association to get their backing. MOA was even told to buy into the venture and be equity partners. They are pushing BRT buses to the road before building dedicated lanes for a selfish reason. Its not about the glossy presentation for helping transportation of people. Any other firm can do that. They want their own sacco, BRT sacco. Cash rich just like the other matatu Sacco’s. Wash wash for the secret accounts and money that they can’t use for now. There are people at OP like kibicho kitaeleweka who are sitting on a bile of money that they need to have it circulate into the economy and gain back clean money. That’s why the rush is heavy on these projects. They need this money before Dec 2019 when groundwork for elections politics swells at the grassroots.
