Police have arrested the husband, mother-in-law, and brother-in-law of a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer who was found dead in her home in Migori on Christmas Day.
The arrests come as investigators intensify efforts to piece together what happened.
Officers revisited the scene and recovered several items they believe may be linked to the case, including clothing suspected to belong to the husband.
Police also searched his shop in Migori town, where they reportedly found a panga with suspected blood stains.
Two of her mobile phones were also reported missing.
The husband told police he had returned home late at night and found the house doors open before discovering her body.
