Fair Usage Policy: Safaricom Vs. Zuku Vs JTL Faiba

Like I told you in the other thread, you’re not our target market. Usidhani movie shop owners are crying because you’re not buying 4k movies. It’s very simple, if you want to download those 4k nonsense, sijui 100GB per day, you must pay more for the privilege. Hakuna vile unasaidia Safaricom. Pigeni tu kelele but you’ll abide by the terms and conditions.

I think any guy in 2021 who buys movie is not serious. Safaricom and Telkom have offers that can afford you at least a 1080p movie for less than 50

Mr Kapitan (captain) net sio limited resource, you pay for the infrastructure to transfer and receive data in bits i.e 0s and 1s.

Hii infrastructure ndio inafanyiwa throttling, I.e speed regulations and what not… So kama hujalipa unayimwa access…

When they give bonus speeds does that mean that the “internet resovoir” iko full to capacity?

Some shallow-minded fellas here believe internet is just for browsing and watching YouTube. They believe “real men” must be out there drinking or cheating rather sitting in their house consuming something they have paid for :D:D:D Rudi shags ka hujui internet Ni ya nini, wale watu wakipewa 100Mbps first thing ni porn hub

Ni kama it’s out of stock, I’m trying to place order but it says “cannot fulfil request at this time.” I can’t believe Starlink is coming to Kenya, walai I will never look back. I’m certain the government might try to frustrate the process. Owning 30% of Safaricom must be good biz for them. No wonder Joe Mucheru is silent.

wakenya wako idle, bedroom ni mahali ya kulala. Kama ivi ndio wakenya wameamua kuishi tutabaki third world country.

Wenye wanatumia internet kufanya biashara, kuje ga uchumi na wasomi ndio wanafaa kucomplain, sio wenye wanatumia internet kujipatia starehe

Kuna watu ata hawajui ku download movies na wakona net i have taught a couple of friends ku download movies and tv shows na kuna net kejani am sure ata hapa kuna wengi hawajui, of which its not a shame or bad thing ni interest ya mtu plus knowledge, kuna wasee wanaishi getto huko hakuna net wanaenda kwa movie shop ama kwa hutu tu sinema hukua mtaani tunaonyesha dj Afro, and they are having fun, Alot of people here and even out there are not into Tech, They find it a bother na inachokesha akili, I remember telling people here about Samsung S20 USA Version and S20 Global version how different they are nikapata backlash mbaya sana

Hii mentality ndio tunajaribu kutoa Africa. Watu kujidai vile wanachapa biz mpaka they do not have time for “starehe” but utaskia wakiwa mstari wa mbele waiting for government deals through corruption. Do you know why Google ventured into fibre business offering 1Gbps unlimited? Because some ISPs were abusing their dominance.

Nowadays only a few have FUP in US, and when you hit your limit, speeds do not reduce, you get charged more. Wengine wakiskia there is 10Gbps in Singapore FTTH for $50 si watafikiria Kenya is such a hardworking country?? Kujichocha na hakuna kitu mnaleta Kenya.

Mnataka starehe ya kustream 4k content na hamtaki kulipa, starehe ni gharama, if you deplete your monthly data cap just renew your package and you are good to go. Na watu wanatumia internet for work mbona mnasikia uchungu kulipia? i also work 100% online when i deplete my cap i just renew it and continue making money, unless mnafanya biashara ya peni mbili.

Ata mimi wananishangaza sana. They can afford to buy 4k capable devices and render content worth 100gb daily but suddenly cry foul when asked to pay more. If their online hustles are that lucrative then they should comfortably pay even 15 to 20k per month.

The internet is not Limited but the infrastructure is expensive. It’s completely foolish to claim that Internet is limited.

Btw video editors will struggle with this FUP sheet. I remember back in 2015 linus techtips was at 1Gbps coz of the video editing. Sahii sijui hio channel imefika bandwidth gani

anachezea 10Gbps at the moment na bado anafeel iko slow:D

What would happen if everybody left their water tap open 24/7/365? Would the price of tap water remain the same.

Why is Nairobi water charging you per unit of consumption?

Do you idiots go and fetch water from Nairobi River or do you get charged tokens according to usage?

Internet is not the same as water. Water is a limited resource. Internet is not. For water you pay what you use. If you use 10 units you will pay for 10 units only. Internet on the other hand you pay for the infrastructure. If you use 2TB or less than 10GB in a month you will still pay the same amount of money.

Maze shida yenyu ni gani? Here’s some diagrams and illustrations…

0s and 1s, na they’re decentralized, you also have 'em, in fact you need 'em to get others back… How’s that finite?

If it’s not finite what are they charging you for?

Sasa common sense inafaa ikwambie for ze infrastructure.

I think it’s you who is not serious. How do you spend your precious minutes on the web hunting for frivolous things like movies. It’s like visiting the library of congress to read the best comic books. Instead of telling us you are torrenting 4k movies tell us about that database ya Instagram accounts you just mined online then we’ll respect you as a man
