The minimum cost of education in Kenya in my humble estimate is 2-5 million shillings from primary to masters when you factor food, board, and transpovrt.
Not to mention the missed opportunity cost, you are in the hole for around 10 million. It’s very shameful after all that you become a food hawker.
No health insurance, no upward mobility, no osha protection, no opportunity to interact with peers, no sick days, no off days. Increased risk of violent robbery, increased risk of catching chorella, increased risk of dirty diseases, no protection form the elements, life long lung problems.
Making back 10 million as a food hawker will break you mentally and physically. It may look fun and entertaining but it is a sign of a failed Economy
National service ndo gani tena…NYS ama? I’m currently pursuing a second masters at a local uni. for no apparent reason. Pretty much out of boredom ( I’m retired), to get a perspective n experience on local universities … the fact that it gets me alot of young soft meat and simply coz I can afford it. But it really adds no value.
Pokot wewe ni tajiri Sana you don’t mind wasting a few shillings in university for fun. Wengine huwa wanamulika hiyo degree ambayo wanafanya ndio itakuja kubadilisha maisha yao
