Seems you forgot about kibera, kware slums, banglaa in rongai, there is new upcoming slum in rongai behind tumaini. These areas are infested by luos languishing in poverty. Yes there are few extremely rich jaluos with mansions similar to the ones in Beverly hills but jauo maskini ni excess.

Having worked in the Luo Nyanza for some time, I would say that Luos have experienced impressive economic growth in the recent years but poverty still affects millions of people in this region. The Luo region is among regions with extreme inequality in Kenya in terms of economic status. Also your statement only looks at what makes one rich as opposed to wealth. The wealth index is a cumulative measure of a household’s standard of living. Some of the determinants or indicators of wealth include access to healthcare and education, clean water etc. This indicators are lowest in the Luo Nyanza as opposed to Central. Ndio sababu when Obama was here in his speech he said that the probability of a young child in Nyanza counties is four times more likely to die than a child in Central counties. I understand how low IQ this post is. Since Kibaki took over a large chunk of the GDP has been funneled to the Mt. Kenya region. The amount of wealth in Kiambu & Nyeri, beats the whole western and nyanza region by several multiples.

That is a very uneducated way of comparing things; in statistics, we do not compare mangoes with oranges or oranges with apples. We compare mangoes with mangoes, apples with apples, etc.
Instead, you should say that out of 4 luos, one is wealthy, and further state that one out of 200 okuyus is wealthy. You should then conclude that, in general, Luos are wealthy and Okuyus are poor
