Wachana na South Sudan!
Somalia is where the dollars are!
It is very, veeery risky, and I know you don’t need to be told this! But you should be told that there’s real money in selling to the Somali in their country.
What can you Take there?
Pumpkins, ginger(tangawizi), watermelons, carrots, the high value mangoes, guavas, tea leaves, the spices for making pilau, etc.
Of course you need a guide and, more valuably, a business partner.
And the Somali are leap years ahead when it comes to business. When you send them goods, most prefer sending goods, as well, back to you instead of cash! Call it batter trade. They have good carpets and, of course, curtains, beddings, electronics, all these from Dubai and Yemen!
I have never done this business, so I don’t have any experience! But I want to try it with a friend who will be my customer and the business partner. We will start with mangoes, and that will be in January and February.
Wish us luck, buddies!
Good luck Munene
Bora ikifika time ya kula, kula kwenu
We really need it!
Oh, and my Friend is a Kenyan Somali, from Garissa, and he trades between Mogadishu, Nairobi and Mombasa.
Usiongee na mafumbo, Walalu! :D:D:D
By the way, wewe Wariah wa wapi?
issak
Utashangaa sana kupata hii ni Kikuyu jinga kutoka Ndumberi.
Mbona basi wewe hula @Mathaais na yeye ni nywele ngumu? Ata wewe kula kwenu
I have a pal in Hargeisa, he is in the medical field, wouldn’t trust him with business, anamalizaga shida zake na pesa ya biashara.
Haujatosheka na matusi ya pepo punda unajitafutia mengine tena? Kwani haujipendi kijana?
Interesting. Usisahau kuleta feedback.
Sijui huko
Inshallah!

If all goes well…or even bad…give us some info pia tuone vile tutajiendeleza biz hizo sides.
just tread carefully.
Dont forget to put a thread on that.
This is only for those with balls of steel.
The biggest mistake you guys are making is assuming that Somalia is virgin territory businesswise.
Somalis are THE business people
Somalia does not need a Kenyan non-somali in order to get supplies.
Kila MTU afanye biashara kwao
Hopefully, all will be well! What is giving me hope is that Mukhtar is the one who expressed interest in buying fruits to take to Somalia. I think he intends to reship them, perhaps, to Yemen, or Hargeisa. I will be careful, all the same!
Wewe huelewi.
Kuna a significant population of Issaks in Kenya ? I just thought they are all packed in Somaliland.
Very many came with the colonials.
