How would flying improve your chances of getting a woman more than @Joka Jomino ? Or improve your chances of surviving in Kenya better than @Euler ? It is the environment that selects the traits that survive. Also, when you ask why are we not evolving any further, you are counting time form when? 10 years ago? 100 years ago? 1000 years? Evolution takes place over hundreds of thousands of years.
