Esperanto and artificially constructed languages

Artificially constructed languages, or “conlangs,” are languages deliberately created by individuals or groups, rather than evolving naturally.

Esperanto is a constructed, international auxiliary language created to be easy to learn and promote global understanding, featuring simple, regular grammar with vocabulary largely from European languages, spoken by an estimated 100,000 people worldwide, with communities in Europe, East Asia, and South America.

It is the most widely spoken artificial language. Some others include: Tolkien’s Elvish, Klingon for the Star Trek world, and Dothraki from GOT.
