Eric Bailly Medical booked by Man Utd as £25 million fee agreed with £5 Million as add on

Jose Mourinho’s first signing for Man Utd is the Ivorian Eric Bailly, 22 years old, +6 feet tall, agility, powerful and blessed with pace. Another African brother in the squad. I understand why we need him after watching two late headed goals against west ham sink our CL qualifications. Daley Blind did very well as a centre back especially against nifty lethal strikers like Aguero but struggled against tall strikers. Jose can rotate them depending on teams.

Villarreal defender Eric Bailly has passed a medical at Manchester United, according to Sky sources.

United faced stiff competition for the signature of the 22-year-old from the likes of Manchester City, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, but they appear to have won the race for the Ivory Coast international’s services.

Sky Sports News HQ understands that interest drove his transfer fee towards the region of £30m, with Bailly impressing in 25 La Liga appearances for Villarreal last season.

I hope Mourinho still goes on ahead to bid for John Stones to make the defenders work hard to earn their first team chances, though there are a couple of boys in the under 21 who could make the step up to plus Timothy Fosu-Mensah could be a great defender too.

You can forget Stones. At £50 million its too much. He is good yes but not that good and like you mentioned Jose magic with English players will make Phil Jones, McNair better and Mensah/Blackett waiting to prove themselves.

There is another good defender called Axel Tuanzebe 18 yrs who is worth a chance soon.

Yes, EPL clubs have hit the jackpot of £100 million a years T.V deal so prizes are up and not to mention Man Utd was bidding against Bayern, Man city and arsenal.

Full recovered and in full training to be fit for pre-season

Am talking about Central Defenders, right now Smalling is the best of them, Blind did well but Mou will shift him to midfield or sell him. That leaves Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo who might just be sold or kept as back-up.options

Blind will revert to either Shaw cover or still remain as center back. Remember Bailly still needs to prove himself in the harsh game of EPL before we completely give him the starting spot. Jone, Blind and Rojo have many thing all managers love. Can play in several roles, don’t complain and are team players. They aren’t going anywhere soon.

Tuanzebe could make it but I really do not see a future for McNair, Blackett, Rojo and Jones in Manchester. Mourinho isn’t the sentimental type to give players a whole season to prove themselves,

Baily ni unga Ama nini ? Apan tambua upus ya Manchieth.

Its a slave market in the name of football
