WATFORD VS THE SAINTS
Everton might have nicked a late point against Manchester United last time out but their form has really hit the buffers.

For me, Toffees manager Ronald Koeman is waiting for the transfer window to open to sort out some of the issues in his squad but he needs some wins before then.

I think he might get one on Saturday. Watford have had a bit of a dip recently too and I am backing Koeman to get a much-needed win.

Lawro’s prediction: 0-2

ARSESHIT VS BEBA BEBA
Arsenal completely took West Ham apart last week.

The Gunners are flying at the moment and Alexis Sanchez has become their most important player - more so than Mesut Ozil.
Stoke are on a decent run too and have got themselves in a really comfortable position in the top half of the table.

I don’t see them causing Arsenal too many problems at Emirates Stadium, though, and I think Sanchez will find a way through, again.

Lawro’s prediction: 2-0

BURNLEY VS BOURNEMOUTH
Bournemouth got a fantastic result against Liverpool last weekend and I like the way they try to play against every team.

But we’ve seen how difficult Burnley make it for teams at Turf Moor this season, even in games they have lost against Arsenal and Manchester City, and I think they might be a little bit too direct for the Cherries to handle.
It is vital the Clarets get something out of their home games because absolutely nothing is happening for them on the road where they have taken one point from a possible 18.

Lawro’s prediction: 2-0

TIGERS VS CRYSTAL PALACE
I was at Hull’s defeat at Middlesbrough on Monday and they offered very little in attack.

Adama Diomande did not get very much support or many chances up front, which is a real worry for the Tigers.
Crystal Palace got an excellent win against Southampton last time out to end their six-game losing streak.

It was quite apt that Eagles striker Christian Benteke got two of their goals, because he had been criticised for his defensive work in previous weeks.

That’s the difference between these two teams - Palace look a threat going forward, while Hull don’t.
Lawro’s prediction: 0-2

SWANSEA VS SANDALANDI
I am very worried about Swansea’s prospects. I was not convinced by Bob Bradley’s appointment and they concede so many goals.

I know the penalty that led to Tottenham’s first goal in their 5-0 win over the Welsh side last week should not have been given, but the Swans just collapsed after that and they look too easy to play against.

Sunderland have hit a bit of form with three wins from their last four matches but they are still suffering from injury problems - forward Duncan Watmore is out for the season, which is a big blow.

I actually think the Black Cats’ priority will be not to lose this game, because they are back to square one a bit if they do.

A draw would keep their good run going before they play leaders Chelsea on Wednesday.

Lawro’s prediction: 1-1

LEICESTER VS NOISY NEIGHBORS
I know Leicester made a lot of changes for their 5-0 Champions League defeat against Porto but that result puts more pressure on them to improve their poor domestic form.

Leicester lost N’Golo Kante to Chelsea over the summer and a lot of the players who were so important in them winning the title last season are not in the same form, but there is no substitute for hard work and their players need to take responsibility.
Sunderland 2-1 Leicester: Claudio Ranieri says good luck not with Foxes

The Foxes need to screw their heads’ back on and quickly, because the other teams around them at the bottom might not have as much quality but they will be fighting hard for survival.

Funnily enough, this game might be just what Leicester need - a big game against a big club.

Teams can definitely get at City too. Pep Guardiola changes his team and his system around a lot and I don’t think Aleksandar Kolarov is a good enough defender to play in a back three.

Alongside him, Nicolas Otamendi’s defensive decision making is poor and I am not convinced by Claudio Bravo in goal either - he got his angles all wrong for Chelsea’s second goal last weekend.
Yes, if City had taken their early chances, they would have beaten Chelsea, but they have got problems at the back.

Fernandinho’s suspension will not help them defensively either and of course up front they are without Sergio Aguero, who is also banned.

Lawro’s prediction: 2-1…i highly doubt

CHELSEA VS ALBION
West Brom are on a really good run and I am pleased for Baggies boss Tony Pulis that they are so high in the table - up in seventh place.

The Baggies have done it by being disciplined defensively and hard to break down but, even so, I don’t see them getting anything at Stamford Bridge.

I was really impressed by what Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said after his side’s win over Manchester City because it will stop his players from getting carried away with winning eight in a row.

Conte pointed out that if Sergio Aguero or Kevin de Bruyne had scored with good chances with the score at 1-0 then his players would have been going home empty-handed.

Chelsea got away with it because they stuck at it and got their reward - and some poor goalkeeping by Bravo helped too.

Lawro’s prediction: 2-0

20 TIMES CHAMPIONS VS A COCK TRYING TO STAND ON A BALL
The last time Tottenham came here in the league was the first game of last season, when they were unlucky to lose out to a Kyle Walker own goal.

I don’t see them losing on Sunday, though, and this is a really tough game for Manchester United, who have got a long trip and a frozen pitch to contend with in the Europa League on Thursday.
Some of Spurs’ attacking players have started to rediscover their form. That, along with their defensive solidity, should ensure they don’t leave empty-handed.

I’m going for another 1-1 draw, which seems to be the most popular scoreline at Old Trafford at the moment.

Tottenham are fifth going into the weekend, one place above United and to me they look more like breaking into the top four. They have more pace in their team and, at the moment, better players in key positions.

Lawro’s prediction: 1-1…CHIETH…CORRECT SCORE 3-1

SOUTHAMPTON VS MIDDLESBROUGH
Southampton did not put up much resistance in their defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday, which was one of those performances that mid-table clubs throw in now and again.

I would expect Saints to improve on that showing here, but they will have to break down a Middlesbrough team who are very defensive minded and have had some good results on the road.
You sometimes hear about teams being well organised but Boro take it a step further - they have got midfielders who don’t cross the half-way line.

Watching them beat Hull on Monday, I could have closed my eyes and, apart from Gaston Ramirez, who roamed a bit more, would still know where every one of their players was.

Lawro’s prediction: 1-1

REDS VS THE HAMMERS
When West Ham boss Slaven Bilic said this week that his players lacked intensity in training I think it was a message to the Hammers’ owners as well as his squad.

A few of their players were outstanding last season but have not really got going in this campaign. Bilic cannot say to them ‘pull your fingers out or I am going to sell you’ so he is trying a different approach.
I suspect he has tried a few different things already but they have not worked and he has probably been looking at his team and thinking you are not giving me enough - and now he is telling everyone else what he is seeing too.

Liverpool’s defeat by Bournemouth last week was a blow but I think it will just be a hiccup. The Reds are still a good side, and are still well placed at the top of the table.

However, if you score three goals away from home in the Premier League you have got to win and I think the only fly in the ointment for Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp is their goalkeeper situation.

Klopp has stuck his neck out with Loris Karius and said you are my number one and I just wonder now if he is privately thinking ‘what do I do now?’ because Simon Mignolet is a better goalkeeper, no question.
I think Klopp has to bring Mignolet back on Sunday and forget about how Karius might lose confidence if he is dropped. He might improve but at the moment he is just not good enough - we saw that against the Cherries.

It might not appear to be a factor against a struggling West Ham team, especially because Liverpool have already blown a few teams apart at Anfield this season, but we see plenty of surprise results in the Premier League and Klopp will not want to risk another one.

Lawro’s prediction: 2-0
