Hao wakisii Waliambia Raila yeye ndiye mambo yote in 2014 and 2017. In 2014, 40% voted for Uhuru. In 2017, 55% voted for Uhuru.
Trust mkisii at your own peril.

Even matiang’ won’t get :100: of the vote. Both for the resident and non resident mogusii.
No one can ever have such apart from nyachae who almost killed WSR. And since then he habors so much resentment towards this community. Rem Osoro/Arati boxing match?

I wish he had succeeded.

Nyamira has for long been proestablishment and Kisii pro-opposition, but Matiang’i is a son of the soil.

So you know Nyachae was Matiang’i’s benefactor. Also from your argument we need to factor in that Nyachae had that support from abagusii because he was one of them and comparing him to Matiang’i I’d say the latter has a clearer chance of succeeding and this will pull in more abagusii to his side. Obeee!

Why do Ruto have to buy people and print T-shirts to attend his rallies something opposition does effortlessly?

True, inasmuch as he is a Nyachae scion, the Nyachae effect was felt by many people because he was a hands-on person. His presence could be felt by everyone in gusii, both on the ground and in the media.

He was popular kwa kiwanja because of his chopper that would conveniently drop him in every village, church, school, or funeral.

When I was in high school, at every prize-giving ceremony he tipped the school community with hard cash, including us students! While at it, he stamped his authority everywhere with his profane language.

Every Christmas season, people from Nyaribari would line up for a Christmas present from him.

His businesses—Swan unga ngano, Sansora bread, Coke soda company, and his Sansora supermarkets—further boosted his popularity.

The new dynamic we have now is that Kenyans have a higher affinity for money, something Matiang’i does not seem to have.
He was a way of life back then. Do you think matiang can beat that?
