How about the engine in the petrol version of that car?

There are two versions one with a 3sfe and the other a K5 or 7 not sure.

The petrol variant of this car (KR42) uses the Toyota 7K-E engine. However, at 1800cc (the diesel CR42 and CR52 models use 3C-E which is 2300cc) it comes off as a bit underpowered. If you intend to do some heavy work you may not like it much.

Edit 1: If the distributior or leads in that 7K-E ever conk out, utaitana.

Edit 2: The 7K engine tends to quickly wear out some seals around the plugs area, resulting in oil leaking into the ‘receptacle’ that holds the plugs.

Edit 3: A question to you: why are you swapping the engines?
