End Impunity Now

What happened Mr Simba? You are not being yourself.

Why …
Because , like other Citizens, I am fed up of the rampant , endemic graft in this country…???

tusafishe mecho, acha za ovyo.

There is a time and place for everything…
This space is for serious discussion…

Go back to your usual sections that is where your contribution come in handy

And you , my friend , need to take your head out of the Sand and see what is going on around you that also affects you…
You cannot hide from reality…

I can never support such stupidity. When you say that every Kenyan has a right to basic healthcare, food and education unasema nani alipe? It’s this kind of socialist BS that is pulling us down.

say hello to safisha mecho ceo

R

Nothing Stupid or Socialist about access to Basic Halthcare , Food and Education.
It is now UNIVERSALLY accepted that these are Basic Human Needs …
( … And they are the basis of Vision 2030 … Nothing SOCIALIST in that …)

To my mind , the simple understanding of the word Socialism is being mindful of everyone’s Welfare…
That is the only way that every Citizen ( …not just a particular Class or Tribe …) gets to realize their Potential …
And the net effect of that is National Prosperity ( …and not Prosperity for a Privilaged few …)

So , you ask …Who is to pay …???
And I say, … We do … but only if it is going to benefit everyone.
Our nation has adequate Resources ( …if all the Mega Scandals and graft are anything to go by …)
All that is needed is good Servant Leadership and proper utilization of all National Resources…

WHAT REALLY AILS THIS NATION IS PISS POOR LEADERSHIP …

Hi Dude …
Move over to the other Channel …
This here is for serious discussions …

You know, I am really really trying hard not to lose it. When you say ‘we do’ to the question of who is to pay, what do you mean exactly? The same people who are crying about a simple 8% VAT? You can use figures if you want.

And when you say, "our nation has adequate resources’, can you start by stating our per capita income (that is if you know what that means). What is our ranking in the world for this? Do all countries with the size of our per capita income give free healthcare, food and education to their people?

Sir, I am sori if I am rude but I find these breathless generalisations, which I heard last when some fools were pushing the Katiba back in 2010, rather delusional and silly.

i agree, you should put up posts like this often rather than encouraging iniquity

Add Up the National Resources stolen in just the last 10 Mega Scandals alone …
Add up the Waste , Mismanagement and outright Theft of Public Revenues Anually …
Add up the National Debt and Losses racked up in “White Elephants” like SGR , the Turkwell Dam and soon to come like the Likoni Cable Cars…

I think you get the picture now …

INTERESTING FACTOID FOR YOU :
At Independence time in 1960 , Kenya , little Mauritius , Singapore , Malaysia and South Korea had almost similar GDPs…
Today , …
It is No Contest …!!!

Hehehe…
Umeongea Kama Wazee Mia Moja Wamaasai …!!

I have already accepted it and moved on.The shit going on is so real

Just a Quick Addendum …

1/ The Proposed Criminal 8% VAT.
Where I come from , we call that … " …Robbing Peter to pay Paul …"…
You cannot support uncontrolled Expediture with additional Taxation …
We have a very bloated Government ( 39 Ministries during the Nyayo Error ) compared to 18 in 1965 … tell me What for …??
8 Provinces and 188 Elected Representatives at Independence ( now 300 + , 47 Counties , Governors , Senators . Women’s Reps and all manner of useless Political Flora and Fauna …
What for …,???
From the get go , we should have adopted a Thifty , Snsible Nation Building Agenda …
Ask any Economist …

2/ Devolution .
Devolution , as originally proposed and Citizen Driven , was not a bad thing …
The problem was that it was slowly Hijacked and Manipulated by Politically Bankrupt and anti-People Elements …
In no time at all , …former “Home Guards” and their proxies were driving the Agenda and the rest is History …

The SWISS people did it correctly 200 years ago … 11 Internally Autonomous Cantons , Canton Representatives as Ministers in the Federal Government , a Federal Chancellor ( President ) holding office for 1 Year and then it rotates to another Canton …real Democracy.
And in the event of disputes … a National Referendum with the Whole 7 million population participating.
We could have copy / pasted and modified this arrangement to suit our local circumstances.
Lots more Efficient and Cost Effective.

3/ A National Welfare System.
This should have come during the Secondary Phase of our Political and Economic Development.
Sadly , proper implementation of this Ideal can only come after Clean and Sober Management of National Resources and the accruing Economic Growth .
Major disparities between the HAVEs and the HAVE NOTs diminish and everyone enjoys a good quality of life.
It is not such a far fetched Idea …
Go visit Singapore and have a look around …

Okay … I"m done …
:D:D:D

I believe we legitimized it by calling it " The Hand Shake "…
But … Whom did it really Benefit ,???

You have an other option …
RESIST …

:D:D

I like your energy, continue with the campaign,we might get there…I don’t need much convincing if I see a mass sharing the same view with you and I.

What we lack is a Visible , Credible , Visionary National Leader with INTEGRITY …
(… mark my words carefully …)

Not in any particular order of importance …

Nelson Mandela.
