Kinangop etc. The lords of the plains. The Kikuyu and Maasai had clear land demarcations. Beyond the Ngong hills and Nyandarua ranges the Maasai ruled the plains all the way to Uasin Ngishu where the Nandi Highlands begin. By the way Uasin Ngishu means cattle with one colour but with a single patch of different colour. Nyeri’s full name is Ldonyo Nyiri, Green hills
