Egerton University is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Rose A. Mwonya as the new Vice-Chancellor with effect from 13th January, 2016.
Prof. Rose A. Mwonya will take over from Prof. James Tuitoek whose final term expires in January 2016. She is set to become the 5th Vice-Chancellor of Egerton University since its inception in 1987.
Prof. Mwonya holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science and Ph.D., from Iowa State University, USA and a Diploma from Egerton University. She is the current Deputy Vice-Chancellor, In Charge of Academic Affairs, having been appointed to the position in 2008.
