Niko hapa garden city and its sad that more than 5 shops have closed down just this month alone.

So the question still begs…is business sustainable in these Nairobi malls?

I doubt it’s because of two rivers. Spending power has diminished considerably. Pay a visit to any mall and business owners will tell you that things have been bad for the past five or so months.

I think them closing and two rivers opening was just a coincidence in timing.
Walking around two rivers you do not see any of those same shops coming up there

2RM is just hype. It’s incomplete na most shops have not been occupied. Carrefour tu ndo niliona ya maana. The offers on electronics ni kali. Sasa. Sipikiwi na kastove kwangu tena.
