Looking forward to comments from every one including @Meria Mata @msalame grace @Bus and of course @The.Black.Templar . Is there anything else you would advice me to purchase to compliment this?
I’ll be cycling later today and I am nursing a hangover as well so nataka nitulie kiasi.
Nothing will be transferred. This is a bicycle repair kit. Itanisaidia ku-repair flat tyres, iko na pump ya kuongeza pressure, screw drivers na spanners. It’s easy to carry and very light weight.
It is a handy set to carry around. Now learn to use every piece on your actual bike. You do not want to discover that you can’t stick the puncture patches at 6 p.m. somewhere around Kayole.
pia nimeona a set of allen keys, hey this is good and pretty cheap.
Now you need a set of led lights for when you may be cycling in the dark, btw did you get a helmet? i recommend color yellow, the color of champions in the tour de france.
I bought a blue one not a looker but feels comfy I got it on the cheap. I plan to buy a pair of leds, any recommendations here?
Thanks, I already got a puncture am planning to buy a new tube because the current one has more than two patches and is now punctured in more than three sites. I intend to buy one and repair before I go cycling later in the evening.
The shipping charges were $9, the item cost $ 14. There were some sellers with free shipping but I was looking for a reputable seller who has 99% positive feedback.
BTW I PAID ZERO TAX!! I had forgotten to mention that. I just gave out my post-office address and received the item in my P.O Box
For the wires, you should always check if the wire is still stuck on the tire other wise you will end up with multiple punchers every time you remove and reinsert your tube…that might be your problem…although once nishawai kanyaga msumari…a freaking three inch nail tore through the tire…upto today I still don’t know how that happened
Instead of repairing punctures during a cheki maneno ride i Always have two spare tubes. With the quick release mechanism for the wheels its much faster that way
Actually after removing the tube I usually check if there are some thorns wires or nails on the tire because they can prick the new tube again. Most of the time I do find them. What! a three inch nail? Well my saddle is broken and I don’t know how it happened. It looks fine but I will have to buy another in future.
I am planning to buy two tubes for back-up during cheki maneno. which is the best quality for my mountain bike?
I read about this somewhere and will also be looking forward to responses on this issue. Also came across an article on filling tubes or tires with a filler material therefore eliminating the need for air.
