Appearing before a parliamentary committee, the EACC CEO Halakhe Waqo was asked to explain why in its 30 convictions, nearly all were petty crimes of offenders who received bribes of between Sh1, 000 and Sh10, 000.
Waqo assured the committee that the EACC has already forwarded files of four governors to the Director of Public Prosecutions for review, the suspects could be arrested and presented to court as early next week.
