EACC arrests 25 MCAs

EACC detectives have arrested 25 Trans zoia county MCAs.

They are alleged to have embezzled Kes 1.7 million with each MCA recieving kes 47,000 which was dubbed a “sending off” package for attending the burial of Matumbei ward MCA Ronald Matongolo back in September 2014.

They are also facing nepotism charges with more than 43 county employees said to be related to several MCAs.

16 MCAs are still out at large including the county assembly Speaker David Sifuna with some said to have escaped to Uganda.

Bishop ameanza kazi, if they pick up the momentum more than half of all elected officials in this country will be on the dock facing either nepotism or embezzlement of public funds or abuse of office charges.

All well and good till they are taken to court and released on a nonsensical fine. I would get real excited if I knew they will soon be joining doctors officials at industrial area prison.

You are being modest, almost all county officials are stealing and they don’t even bother to hide it much. We need tenders for new prisons soon.

Starting from the bottom working his way up the food chain is the safest play he has, MCAs, MPs, county and government officials do not have the clout to fight back. Remember most of the money we lose is the result of wastage, misappropriation and embezzlement, if we cut that out there will be alot of money freed up for infrastructure development and service development.

The twin wars that are been fought (corruption and Drugs), are healthy for the Kenyan economy.
My eyes are fixed on the real estate. I wanna see how this sector will be affected.
