Just the other month my neighbour left for USA hoping for the best without due planning; she informed me that she was to be hosted by a relative who has been there for quite long. Without requesting for slices I gave her my piece of mind citing that leaving a KES. 100,000 job just to plunge into uncertain grounds was bulshit. She proceeded to what she perceived as greener pastures … ffwd on Saturday I almost tripped after seeing her in a supermarket in a spider (buibui). She is back, no job and she doesn’t even want to be recognized. A fool and her money eventually departed with nothing to hold on at the moment.

N.V wacha tu nikusaidie, start looking for another slice. If she stays, good for you but she will never be satisfied as she will always think about the better job she could have had there. Getting a better job in Dubai is not a guarantee, they may pay better but its an expensive city which cancels out any gains she got. If she goes just forget her because huko atapata wanaume and that’s life.

Thanks @incognitus , thats my worry too. She appears so inclined towards a move huko which is worrying since ni kama anategemea the rela fully, but anyway I will share what I feel and garner from here from an optimistic perspective. Kuna ufala flani matym ukichapia mtu reality anaona haumtaki so I will take it slow.

In today’s global economic crisis even savings for 3 months isn’t enough. As stated above life abroad for naive women is harsh once reality settles in and the only way to survive is to sell pussy. Ask her what are her alternative plans if she can’t find a job.

Alafu piga hesabu ya as a black person, you are competing with Filipinos, Indians and Bangladeshi’s for the same jobs. Those guys can even work for free. There is this lass I have been climbing for nearly 1.5 years now. This lady has always been desperate to land a better paying job. At the moment she is at the 30k range. For the past six months, one of her very close relatives has been trying to help her land a job in Dubai. This has not been easy and now the lady has been requested by the relative to resign where she is now, so that she can travel to Dubai and start tarmacking from those areas. According to the relative, she stands a higher chance of landing a job if she operates from those sides rather than the usual online applications.

I happen to be the chiks best friend, so she wants me to help her make an informed decision about the move. I have little or no experience with getting jobs abroad and this evening this lady has invited me to a coffee date where she wants me to help her make a choice. Like any other lady, I feel she is inclined towards moving those sides maybe due to the images she bears in her mind about the place and the possible aura that comes with living abroad, but I could be wrong. So guys, what’s your experience with seeking employment in Dubai, and what are some of the things I can share with her that could help her start a new life from those sides if she resolves to leave? Just to mention, I really wish her all the best in life and her success is mine too.

What you forgot to mention is, her qualifications, so it could be hard to advice.
