Dual booting windows and Android on your PC :REMIX OS

It is now possible to install android natively on any x86 computer, intel or amd. This is different from most android on PC solutions as they are usually installed through a virtual machine. Remix OS is a customized version of android that is tailor made for PCs, with native mouse and keyboard support, windowed multitasking and several other features not found in the standard android experience.
I have been using it for a while and so far it looks very promising. Being able to switch from windows to android and have access to the millions of apps on android on the same machine is a compelling reason enough for me to have Remix OS installed.

You will need the following
[ol]
[li]easy BCD[/li][li]Remix OS[/li][li]A Hard-drive partition with no OS[/li][/ol]
Begin by download Remix OS from its site.

[ol]
[li]Extract the downloaded zip file to some location.[/li][li]Now extract the contents of ISO file to the partition you prepared. You don’t have to format it to fat 32 as even NTFS will work just fine. Also copy the ISO file without modification to the same newly created partition. Now the partition must have a ISO file along the extracted contents of ISO file. Your partition content should look similar to below photo.[/li][/ol]

  1. Now we need to make the entry of RemixOS to boot menu, for that we need to download EasyBCD. After download launch the program. Select Add New Entry → In the lower right pane select ISO → Now add a name to be shown in boot menu e.g RemixOS → In path select the ISO which you have copied in new partition created for RemixOS → Click on Add Entry button at bottom right. After these steps your EasyBCD window should look like this.

Editing boot menu with easybcd
[ol]
[li]To verify if you have successfully added RemixOS to boot menu click on Edit boot menu at left and see if there is a entry named RemixOS. If it is then we are ready to go.[/li][li]Restart your PC in the boot menu select RemixOS.[/li][li]There are two modes in which you can use Remix OS guest mode and resident mode. If you select guest mode your data will not persist after reboot. It will take some time to install RemixOS eventually your PC will boot with RemixOS.[/li][/ol]

This looks interesting but what do you do 5mins after playing about with the OS? I have done anything on a phone and desperately wished i could do it on a pc…especially since you can have sessions of apps run on your pc on your windows/osx/Linux platforms…

hapa ndio wengi mta format ma pc:D:D:D:D:D:D

The possibilities are endless with android OS working natively on a PC since it is not as resource hungry as windows. This means that it will run significantly faster on very old computers that would otherwise struggle to cope with modern versions of windows. furthermore, other solutions available for running Android apps on windows are very resource hungry and they bog down the pc. apps also don’t run as well as they do in remix OS. once Remix OS is refined and most bugs squashed, it will give chrome OS a run for its money.
