Drunkenness, prostitution': Kenyans in Bahrain warned against misconduct

We have gone international elders

Kenyans living in Bahrain have been cautioned against engaging in illegal activities.

A notice from the Kenyan Embassy to citizens in the country said Bahrain authorities are concerned with the number of Kenyan citizens who have been arrested due to unlawful acts.

“On a regular basis, the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain furnishes the Embassy with information on Kenyan nationals arrested and incarcerated in Bahrain due to disorderly behaviour and breaking the law,” the notice read.

It said, “The Embassy is concerned that of late, the cases of unlawful acts by Kenyans have become increasingly rampant further raising concerns with Bahrain authorities due to the high number of them in detentions, deportation centres and in government shelters”.

According to the notice signed by Raphael Musyoka on behalf of the Ambassador, illegal sale of alcohol, drunkness and disorderly in public spaces, fighting and altercation in public and prostitution, illegal massage parlors and house parties are among concerns raised by Bahrain authorities.

Other activities include lack of proper residence documentation and immigration offences, high illicit pregnancy cases and changing employment with no regard to labour laws.

“In view of the above, the Embassy wishes to caution Kenyans against involvement in these illegal acts and at the same time encourage observance of the laws and regulations of the host country,” the notice read.

The Embassy did not however indicate how many Kenyans had been deported or put in incarceration centres.

Hii tabia yetu mbovu tuna export everywhere

muteso huyo ni wewe, wengine kama sisi we are law abiding

I don’t see tribalism

those message parlours must be for shiny eyes.:Dviashara lazima itambe

Isn’t this slavery? How much do they make in Bahrain? Afadhali kurudi Kenya uishi venye unataka.

Basic law of supply and demand… Inakaa hawa waarabu wanapenda sana hio ngono ya kenyans

Mkamba wacha kufikiria kama mcoosh

Those are normal problems anywhere in the world. As long as they are not selling drugs, involved in kidnappings and such gross crimes.

Rather than our embassy push for better jobs, better work perks/working conditions , access to white collar/blue collar jobs. Persecution of the Arabs mistreating Kenyans. They have time for this nonsense.

Sex is a human right. Bahrain should accommodate and appreciate our norms and lifestyle. Have designated bars/Entertainment zones, health, counseling centre’s and hospitals for other open cultures and health related issues.

Can’t a black man be treated with respect and honor?

Wanjiku na Muthoni wanachomea Kenya :D:D:D:D:D:D hawa lazima wakuwe to ni okuyu

Kenyan embassies must be the only ones in the world that help the host country make life harder for kenyans while doing nothing to assist kenyans in need. Washienzi kabisa.

Hizi ndio gani?

A huge number of Kenyans in the UAE are shineyes… and Ahmed Nasir was saying sijui they are business oriented.

umalair utatumaliza…massage palour lazima

We should also be strict with Immigrants in our own country especially Nigerians who chew our women mercilessly in Roysambu
