Drumpf Talk

America elected a POTUS who speaks in FOX News sound-bites. Lacking any ideas of his own, woefully inadequate in vocabulary and pretty incapable of improvising, he strings fragments he heard on TV together, repeating himself and actually saying NOTHING:

“I think what Assad did is terrible. I think what happened in Syria is one of the truly egregious crimes. It shouldn’t have happened. It shouldn’t be allowed to happen,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One. “I think what happened in Syria is a disgrace to humanity. He’s there, and I guess he’s running things, so something should happen.”

Now, first establish that it was Assad. That will mean sitting down with the experts (= NSC, CIA, Military intelligence without Steve Bannon!) and analyzing information. After that, do not say ‘Something should happen’. You are now the President of the United States of America, and you kept promising decisiveness throughout your noisy campaign.

Make something happen, but bear in mind that Putin is there and he is Assad’s friend.

He’ll probably tweet to Assad to stop his atrocities…Veeeeery Drumpftastic

Kikikikikiki!! One thing he will learn very quickly is that foreign adventures are sticky and unpredictable, then he’ll understand Obama’s reserved handling of foreign crises, which he calls weakness.

Russia is already challenging him:

“Russia’s approach to Assad is clear,” Maria Zakharova, a Russian ministry spokeswoman, told CNN. “He is the legal president of an independent state. What is the U.S. approach?”

Interesting times we live in.
