Dropping the American dream

I was determined to go to Trumpistan but vile inakaa, huko wamefunga most legal means of immigration, so unless you marry a citizen, you will have a very hard time. And even that angle of doing a sham marriage leaves you very open to scammers.

It appears that Canada is the only developed country left that welcomes immigrants with open arms. The good thing about Canada is that it’s cheaper (I have saved up enough money to see me through my course without stress mingi za survival), also Canada has a clear and transparent path to permanent residency. From my research ubaya wa huko ni baridi mwenda of up to -40 degrees Celsius which can even kill you if you’re not careful, and the Crazy Rich Asians are inflating the housing market like mad. Regardless of these problems, the pros outweigh the cons IMO. I want to go there and do computer science while doing data entry in my spare time to gain that Canadian Experience (I can type at 60+ words per minute). That will most likely see me through to permanent residency. Watu wa majuu tell me, is that a good plan?

Yes it is Canada = America on easy mode

Good choice. But kuna kazi ya data entry (60wpm secretary) nowadays?

I’ll ask my one Canadian friend. Do you by any chance live there yourself?

No.
