DPC watchdog violation. Please help

My HP laptop with Windows 10 upgrade has been restarting every 15 minutes with this error
[ATTACH=full]23655[/ATTACH]
I have tried two solutions that I found on Google.

  1. unchecking " turn on fast start up" from the power options setting

  2. Synaptics driver solution found here

I’m still getting the same error. Any tech gurus @Chloe

This thing made my pc crash and i lost all my data on my pc. If you have to install windows 10 you MUST keep a backup before you take this step.

Install Linux.

How do I do that? I thought the grace period for downgrading back to windows 7 has already elapsed?

Mine had sound driver error.had to revert to win8
