I have come to notice that bars and pubs in downtown Nairobi are sex dens in disguise. The only bar I knew was a sex den was Sabina Joy after being taken there by a friend. At first nilishtuka juu ilikuwa imejaa madem wengi sana who I thought were waiters only to find out that they sell sex. Some were young and were very pretty but the idea of paying for sex didnt go down with me very well.
The next one was VIP classic that is in River road hapo karibu na Coop bank. I went there knowing its a place where I would be able to cool down and have a drink while in town lakini wapi. Its a full on sex den with all manner of women. Young, middle age and also some were very old and looked like they were hitting menopause. It was literally full of people you could smell sweat over the air. The only thing I liked about the club is that the price of beers in there was very friendly. All beers go for 220 and Guiness goes for 240.
There is another one at the end of Luthuli called Ricoz pub and restaurant. I went up some stairs and ended up bumping into a number of women who were pressuring me to follow them. I thought they were barmaids employed there to serve clients but I was wrong. I came to know they were hookers after one of them touched my groin and exclaimed, “Ya huyu bado haijasimama”. I ignored them and went to the right side trying to find my way in the club. I entered and ordered a beer. Before I could even settle down one of the hookers came and became too aggressive towards me trying to sell her services to me. She was short, brownskin and had a perfect body not too big not too small. She was pretty too. I told her off and she went away. She is a kamba as she told her fellow hooker in kamba, " Huyu labda hajui kutombana ndo maana anabehave ivo". I finished my drink and left.
