If I may ask, why does Trump hate China so much? What did China do to him that he hates it so much. He put a ban on Huawei devices which prevented them from surpassing Samsung as the world’s top smartphone company. Now he is busy increasing tarrifs on them. Ironically, China havent called back and he folded and exempted electronics from the tarriffs. He is also rubbing allies the wrong way. Trump is the western version of our own Kasongo, talking too much, over promising and not delivering. They are all coming with up with bad policies that doesnt benefit the common man.

His half Swedish mind is unable to find a way to threaten them into submission economically, and he’s avoiding a war. Because he’s already been warned against it.
Quite simple really.
China is a threat that the US does not know how to contain. It has chosen a path of economic diplomacy and is slowly but surely rising to be the biggest economy globally by mid this century. US’s downfall started when they outsourced everything to China - they had to give the Chinese their technology and the Chinese are improving on the same - the chips, the EV etc
In any case, hegemonies don’t last for long, the US’s success has made it lazy, disjointed and lack focus such that cohesive societies like China are taking over. China’s masterstroke has been its mastery of neocolonialism geared towards natural resources, meaning they control both resources and production.
It is time to learn Mandarin, and Trump knows it, and he can do little about it. Once the world figures how to move on without the dollar, US is cooked!
Plus the Chinese have taken their Children to study in US - most till PhD level so they know the US psyche and methodologies.

You have described the situation quite vividly. However, your conclusion is rather optimistic, naive even. Show me one instance when those yt spawns of satan stepped back and agreed to be led/taught in the last 3000 years.

The fight is economic, and its against the whole world. They will not win - in fact they have started retracting on the tariffs - Canada and the big European boys threatened to dump their US bonds.

Trump is playing reverse Nixon. Play Russia vs China and US wins, Russia might soon be engulfed in populism where Putin meets his end like the Tsars.
Strong Russia/India vs Strong China is geopolitical chess. Global popitics is a revolving door, only a fool makes permanent enemies.
