DOGE is not a US Government Agency

Let’s get it very clear

Elon Musk and DOGE are NOT a US Government Agency.

No they aren’t, they do not even have an office in white house. Think of them as advisors to the president. At least they are advisors whose advice leads to tangible results and as promised during campaigns. We can argue about the process or the actions but we can’t argue about their being active, unlike our president’s advisors whose only results are their extending midriffs and entanglements with SHA SHIf and other scandals (Apielo, ahem!)

So , they have no capacity or legal basis to take control of US Government Agencies

BTW
They are not even elected by the US Voters.

If they are not a government department, why do they have a higher security clearance from DOD?

Ni kama musito faruk hapa kunia

Actually, they do not

Where and when we’re they elected , vetted , empowered or approved by Congress…???

It seems that it is only Trump who says that they do

And Trump is limited by the same Laws and Ordinances that he took a public oath to uphold and defend.

Actually
A good example of that is this Kaongo idiot “Aide” who keeps appearing in local media

I hope you get it now …!!:relieved:

Bottom Line

Trump , Musk , DOGE or assorted MAGA hacks have no authority to terminate Budgets or Agencies established and approved by the two people’s Legistlative Branches of Government and oversight.

If Trump ( and “Boer” Musk ) want any changes in governance structures , they have to go thru the Legistlature and do it the proper way

And not thru so-called "Executive Orders.

Otherwise they are in conflict with established Law and governance procedures which they will soon find out

Last time I checked
The USA is still a functioning Democracy:relieved:

Unless with a direct presidential order or executive order, I think. In such an operation they must be accompanied by a civil servant with authority to do that. In this case think of them as consultants. Hehehee I know it’s confusing but welcome to the world of bureaucracy

True. An expenditure and office created by a legislative body can only be switched off by an act of the body(ies). Definitely Manda Musa II is overstepping. And that’s him, a bully who thinks he is the ripest mango on the tree and others are rotten.

They should trim expenditure at White House too

If those who are terminated without an act of the legislative bodies go to court, it will be counter productive because they have to be paid their dues i e salary for years remaining in service and compensation and others, so Trump will end up paying people who will not be working.

The buyout is a legal remedy to the issue. It’s what in Kenya was called “Golden handshake”

The US president is not a Monarch

He is a leader of consensus subject to the Laws of the Land and simply enjoying the pleasure and mandate of the voters

He cannot unilaterally make pedestrian proclamations or changes to established Laws which he is also subject to.

Because they are advisors to the president. To effectively advise the president, they require access to government information. It’s like David Ndio attending cabinet meetings

Agreed. But for the president to work effectively he is given some leeway to make unilateral decisions which are checked by allowing people to go to court to request for it to be rescinded, that’s the Executive orders

The thing is, Trump is not doing anything outside the campaign promises which gave him a big win

In general terms , but only by consent.
The concerned are not obligated in any legal way to comply.

If “Boer” Musk tries to force issues , he can end up in a court of Law.
