I travelled to go visit my daughter and spend some time with her but everything is not alright about two weeks ago she developed a boil on her right thigh slightly below her posterior the mother finyad it for lack of a better word and got rid of the pus. It was painful but it was something that had to be done. Now two weeks later there is a certain hard lump that can be felt by pressing slightly on that thigh the mother claims that it has reduced from the time she first developed a boil. The effect of that means that she seems not to stand straight. The leg seems that ni kama haina nguvu. Ukimsimamisha she stands firmly by the other leg halafu hii ingine anawekelea polepole. Her mother took her to a doctor who assured her all is gonna be well with time. I dont want to take chances with my daughter and so i have sought another doctors opinion who has scheduled for a scan tomorrow. At first i thought maybe those vaccine injenctions was not administered properly that is yet to ruled out. Other than that she is a healthy and playful girl she is 6months 3weeks old. My humble request is to help me try to decipher what might or could be wrong so that i can nip it in the bud asanteni.

May be this is a sign of polio
dude, stop scaring yourself with online diagnoses from certified quacks. just go see your docs and get sorted
The mistake you did was draining the abscess on your own. However, it’s most probably a lymph node.
I would say the child is ok but a proper paediatrician should see her to assuage your fears and ensure everything is alright.
A 6 month old hasn’t really started walking and inspecting her gait will mislead.
@nairobilay ashasema. Hii thread imefungwa…
Hope she gets well soon. Nothing breaks my heart like a suffering kid
i used to have boils nikiwa primary and after boil kufinywa the place remained hard for sometime…mtoto ako sawa, just healing slowly.wish her quick recovery
Ati polio? Hakuna kitu Kama hio…
She has taken that polio jab
Its never bad to seek other doctors opinion i have been a victim of misdiagnosis before for relying on one doctors individual opinion
Ungekuwa hosi say hii Omwami
Mtoi wa six months hawezi simama pekee yake vizuri, hata kama ume msupport kwa mabega, they start standing between 10-12months. So, sidhani kama ni boil inafanya asimame hivyo
Nitakwambia hivi, no one can make a surgical clinical decision without examining the kid. This lump can be anything from what you’ve explained.
The lady did a layman Incision and Drainage, but maybe never drained it all. So my advice, visit a hospital, upon examination by the doctor an intelligent decision will be made thereof.
There is no problem with getting a second opinion, but over the internet is the worst place to get it. Even @Luther12 would be hesitant to give you possible diagnosis without a physical inspection because it can be a symptom of something very benign to something horrific.
And other cartoons in this forum(akina @Transformer and @Acoustic) will tell you there are demons in the diaper, the leggings are possessed or Clinton is the cause of the pus.
siwezi imagine vile @imei2012 hii story imekusumbua
Relax bro. Kids are very resilient. She will stand proper at her time…in another three months. But welcome to parenthood…its another name for constant worries…hata wakiwa watu wazima
so kama mtoi wa imei amesimama na 6months ni kumaanisha ni kama akizaliwa alikuwa na miezi kama sita hivi
You spoke my mind…Six months ni mdogo sana. But I understand @imei2012 just wants peace of mind, enda a different hosi utafute another opinion.
You forgot to mention Babuon.
@imei2012 please go to hospital (avoid gertrudes) so that the kid is physically checked.
Why gertrudes? I took my soon there 2wks ago. I know they haven’t had good press of late but just call them out on a diagnosis if you have doubts
