Do The Agikuyu Owe Their Dominance In Kenya's Many Sectors To Power Proximity Or Sheer Hardwork?

It Turkanas had 2 Presidents since 1963, would they have dominated Kenya’s economy like the Agikuyu?

I highly doubt they would even achieve half.

Right now they are receiving Billions of shillings every year but they cannot even sink boreholes. Kazi yao n Governor kunjenga palatial home na kununua magari.

Hoarding capital.

Jews do the same via Rothschilds family but yoou are Okay with it

Huh? Those people are on the other side of the planet.

Pastoralist cultures vs agriculturalist cultures determine the mentality of the community. One is short term (raiding neighbors of their livestock and suffering from drought) and the latter requires long term strategy and thinking (planting with the seasons and securing fertile land). The results speak for themselves.

You can’t build factories, schools, roads, sewer etc when unahamahama. All advanced societies had to settle first for them to develop.

Only a few tribes like Kisii, Kamba and somalis would have achieved what the Kikuyu have achieved if given close proximity to power. Most tribes don’t kujituma at all and just wait for free things. Kalenjin would have been far ahead had they worked much harder, developed an entrepreneurial culture and shunned the primitive culture of looting government institutions. Given that they have good fertile lands and had two presidents since independence
