At the moment deejaying is like quail farming a few years back… Everyone is doing it.
To get a shot at having a residency at a club you need to have a decent following first. Build your own brand, probably have a substantial online presence then you have a chance. As much as the club has patrons already they would want to know if you’re capable of bringing in new people to the establishment.
Clubs also may ask for your mixes collection to have a look at what you’re currently doing… So a Mixcloud account should be on standby with your clearly labelled content.
