distribution of income

is there something as fair or equitable distribution of income??

Lets say I want to go to a place like Makueni some interior village huko @Chloe can relate.

I take a matatu to town at 50/-. I take a matatu to Makueni at 400/-. I take a probox to the remote village and I pay 150/- together it totals to 600/-. When coming back to Nairobi I use the same modes of transport and pay the same amount of 600/-. totalling to 1200/-.

In another scenario, I ditch public transport and fuel my car with 1200/- and use it to go to the remote village in Makueni and back to Nairobi.

Is still that fair distribution of income seeing that on the public mode of transport many people were involved in getting a share of the money while in the 2nd mode all the money went to one person??

Change title to “exploitation of public transport users in Kenya”.

Makueni and back for 1200? Hata na nduthi hio haiwes make?

Am giving an example goddamn it

interesting take here. as i read some post @Amused put up regarding a recession, one guy said, “when good move jobs are created. when money moves jobs are created.

it is similar to washing your own dishes/clothes or paying someone to do it.

in this case though, i drive a fun car so i would rather fuel it and enjoy the drive. regarding domestic chores, I’d rather pay.

From my understanding, had you paid, each 150, then you will have equally distributed.

In the case where you drive yourself, if have failed to take into account your labor (driving) and the wear and tear on your car.

I would rather fuel my car. Remember, you’re flexible in your own way of transport.

Take it for example, if you have to use public transport it will cost you more time than the money. Shifting between those public means of transportation is time consuming.

You’ll end spending a night when you could have traveled and came back the same day with your own car.
