A 56-year-old on Friday attacked and killed 50-year-old rider following a fight over a widow in Sidho area in Muhoroni Sub-County, Kisumu County.
The two men, identified as Michael Osewe, 56, and Albert Oyoo, 50, reportedly fought each after they met inside the woman’s house.
According to police reports seen by the press, Michael Osewe caught Albert in bed with the woman he inherited after her husband’s death.
Michael is said went for a matchete and hacked his sweetheart’s lover on his head, arms and fingers.
Sources privy to this desk revealed that the two never met until today Friday when the unfortunate incident happened.
The matter was filed by the woman at the area local administrator who later called the police.
Michael later fled the scene after committing the heinous act.
Police who visited the home, transferred the body of the deceased to Ahero Sub-County hospital morgue for postmortem.
The police have launched a manhunt for the suspect who is still at large with the woman held under police custody.
