It is now CLEAR that Ruto will do away with Gachagua. A few years ago Ruto and his then boss President Uhuru were not in good terms but it never escalated to this level. Ruto never faced a threat of impeachment. What did Ruto do Right that Gachagua did wrong. Why did he survive and Gachagua can’t?
1. Ruto unlike Gachagua had a solid Kalenjin support base very loyal to the core. If anything like this were to happen to Ruto, the Kalenjins would have caused trouble. Uhuru could not RISK.
2. Ruto unlike Gachagua had already grabbed Mt. Kenya from Uhuru, he had already planted his young and loyal servants like Nyoro and Ichungwa back in 2017. Basically Ruto had numbers in parliament that would have shielded him from such nonsense.
3. Ruto understood the workings of the government, he did most of the handy work. He created his own system, built a network of connections, he had his claws deep into the system it was difficult to uproot him.
4. Ruto unlike Gachagua had a plan. Ruto bid his time in the first term, amassed enough wealth through corruption and tenders, he made himself self sufficient and was very obedient. He knew it was important to survive the second term. Gachagua does not even know what his next step is.
5. It is also important to note that Ruto unlike Uhuru is very ruthless. He does not have mercy, he does not care for as long as he gets his way.
There were No Sufficient grounds to Impeach Ruto then than Gachagua Currently and Ruto did not disrespect Uhuru Openly as is the case with Riggy G. However much they had differences. Ruto played safe
