I feel like the disciples of Jesus should have sat down and assigned one disciple, the best trained, the exclusive role of writing ONE gospel to avoid the inconsistencies that we see among the gospels. For example the variations in details concerning the empty tomb, Jesus’ birth, genealogies, crucifixion, whether or not Jesus would give signs, whether Jesus was a human fulfilling God’s will or he was God himself, whether Jesus was hiding his messiah identity or announcing it openly.
Again, a strange and seemingly needless verse like this would be avoided: "A young man, wearing nothing but a linen garment, was following Jesus. When they seized him, he fled naked, leaving his garment behind” (Mark 14:51–52). Also small small contradictions like Mark telling us all the disciples deserted Jesus when he was arrested only for John to later claim he was actually at the crucifixion standing next to Mary… or confusion regarding the number of donkeys Jesus rode when he made his triumphant entry… could be avoided.
You are mightily bothered by thigs that an average christian doesnt even know
Read to understand, don’t just go looking for controversy, coz you will find it. Bible is canonical, more so philosophical, requires that you look at it from all angles. It’s simple minds like yours that demand absolute path literature, when you don’t get it, you start yapping how you discovered controversy in the Bible.
@Stormtrooper98 kwa nini media house zote on Thursday hawakukaa chini watupatie version moja ya vile maandamano ilikuwa?
So if the bible doesn’t make sense it’s me who is not clever enough to understand it? Ok then what is the correct way of reading and understanding “all the disciples deserted Jesus” ? Does it mean some disciples deserted him and some remained? If that is what it means basi kizungu ni ngumu.
Media house zote do not work for one person, do they? All the disciples worked for Jesus. They should have agreed on one story and stuck to it.

This was all deliberate in order to portray different aspects of Jesus Christ as was revealed to the writers (each of them saw Jesus from a different perspective).
In Mathew Jesus is portrayed as a king and so the book focuses more on the kingdom of heaven.
In Mark Jesus is portrayed as a teacher/healer.
In Luke Jesus is portrayed as a the messiah/son of God.
In John Jesus is portrayed as a servant who did nothing on his own will but surrendered completely to the will of God.
The question is why can’t God just give all these messages to one guy? Even when looking at the old testament prophets they were totally different I mean look at Elijah who causes fire to rain from the clouds, Elisha who raises the dead but then we have Isaiah who can’t perform a simple miracle yet they are all prophets.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
